The conversion of Yr Ysgubor – the Granary - was completed in 2004. Whilst retaining original features where possible, it has been renovated to modern building standards.
There is full oil-fired central heating- under guests’ control and included in the rental costs ensuring year round warmth.
Clean, comfortably furnished, and well-equipped, the cottage is decorated with works by local artists and art depicting the local area.
Rental costs include gas, electricity, central heating/hot water, bedding (but not cot bedding).
Beds have duvets and two pillows per person.
Please bring your own towels and tea towels. We can provide a cot and highchair on request.

Ground Floor

The kitchen/dining room. A large room with good quality fitted units and a ‘family sized’ table that will seat six people in comfort. The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas hob with extractor fan above, electric oven and grill, microwave, electric kettle ,toaster, automatic clothes-washing machine, refrigerator with freezer compartment , iron and ironing board. There is ample crockery, cutlery and glassware (even picnic ware!) plus pots and pans and a variety of kitchen tools.
The living room has two large two-seater settees, wide-screen television with Free-View box, DVD player and video player/recorder, stereo CD/radio/cassette player plus a good selection of books and games.
First floor
Two bedrooms, one twin with standard sized beds (3’ x 6’3”), one double with a 5’ x 6’3” bed.
The bathroom is located between the bedrooms and has tiled walls and floor, a bath with overhead pressurised shower, W.C. and wash-hand basin.
Externally there is a private, fully enclosed patio area with wooden picnic table and chairs, shallow steps lead to a grassed area with clothes drying line.
